Do you take walk in appointments?
We do take walk in appointments. We are typically pretty busy, so you may have a little bit of a wait. If you call ahead we can usually let you know what kind of wait to expect.
Do I need an appointment to pick out glasses?
You do not need an appointment to pick out glasses. Come by anytime or check out our online store.
How long does it take glasses to be made?
Depends on how many upgrades you choose and your prescription. We typically tell patients they will take 2 weeks, but that may vary. We know you will be wearing these glasses for at least a year and want them to be perfect. So, we are very picky with the lab to make sure they are perfect.
Can I take my prescription somewhere else?
Of course, it is your prescription. Know that we do price match most online places and since we are a medical facility we do not have to charge sales tax like they do. So, this makes our prices cheaper.
Do you perform eye surgeries?
We do some minor eye surgery procedures in office, but when it comes to a major eye surgery we refer out to the best surgeons in the area.
Why do you dilate my eyes?
We would prefer to do a scan because it gives us more information, but the dilation lets us check for retinal diseases. If you want more information about dilation, then check out our blog post.
Do you allow payment plans?
We do through Care Credit.
What payment options are available?
Cash, check, credit cards, and Care Credit.
Why do you need my medical insurance?
In the event you get a scratch or an infection your vision insurance won’t pay for the exam, but your medical insurance will.
Do we make our own lenses?
We do not. We order name brand lenses from the largest lab in the US.
How long will it take to get my contact lenses?
Typically for soft contact lenses they take 1-2 weeks. Some custom soft may take 1-2 months.
Can you do same day glasses?
We do not make glasses the same day. We want to make sure you get a quality product not the fastest thing we can make.
